PlayNova is a free online arcade with a simple promise: 100 original browser games, made for 2026 â every title, character, level and question created fresh for this website. You will not find copies of famous franchises here. Instead you will find neon serpents, haunted libraries, pumpkin panics, quantum mazes and dozens of other playful worlds, each built as a complete mini-game with two to three hand-tuned levels, real win and fail conditions, and a best-score tracker that lives right in your browser.
đŽ Why we built it
PlayNova is a project by Majid Farooq (Arifwala, District Pakpattan, Punjab, Pakistan â also behind schoolsti.org.pk). The idea started with a frustration every casual player knows: most "free games" sites are cluttered with pop-ups, demand downloads, or recycle the same handful of copied classics. We wanted the opposite â a clean, fast, family-friendly arcade where every game is original, every page loads quickly on a phone, and a child can play without stumbling into anything inappropriate.
đ§ Kid-safe by design
Safety is not a filter we apply afterwards; it is how the games are written. All 100 games are family-friendly. Our Spooky category deserves a special mention: it captures the fun of Halloween-style atmosphere â friendly ghosts, smiling pumpkins, mysterious midnight libraries â but it never includes gore, blood, jump scares or frightening audio. Parents and teachers can let children explore the whole site with confidence.
đ§ How the games work
Behind the scenes, the arcade is powered by twelve original game engines â memory matchers, whack-a-target arenas, snake runners, maze explorers, catch-the-goodies baskets, target rushes, Simon-style sequence games, sliding puzzles, quiz rushes, brick breakers, obstacle dodgers and sorting sprints. Each of the 100 games is a unique combination of engine, theme, artwork, difficulty curve and level design, so no two games feel the same even when they share a style of play. Everything runs on plain, lightweight web technology: no downloads, no plug-ins, no accounts, and no third-party game files. Your best scores are stored only on your own device, and the whole site is designed to stay fast even on modest mobile connections.
